Who is Marguerite?

Who is Marguerite?

Hello hello,

But who is Marguerite? One of our slippers for women has been inspired by an extraordinary woman of the my family and I would like to tell you a bit more about her.

The Golden Years

The inspiration for the slipper comes from the women during the Golden Years that loved franfreluches, boas, feathers, femininity, and humor!

At that time, women started to liberate themselves and take some liberties like driving cars or party… no doubt a healthy reaction to the past difficult times.

But who is Marguerite?

My grandmother on my father side lived in that time. She was a very young woman, coming from the middle class, living in the surroundings of Lyon. She was a cheerful women, loved to laugh, the feathers - she loved life and her family.

As she had lost her brother and onclu during the was, it was primary for her to take a step back, and apprehend life in a more thoughtlessness way while she was alive.

This slipper has been created when thinking about my grandmother Marguerite: the heel is not to high as she was very tall for those days (1m75!!). The feathers remind me of her dressing table, where one could find her face powder. Everyone told me as I was still a baby…

All these ideas put together, have inspired me to create this model - fashion, amusing and comfortable.
And available in different colors: black, ivory and gold!

Little mule with small heel of 40mm with pompon made of feathers.
